St. Matthias, the Apostle

"Never despair of God’s mercy.”

Saint Matthias became an Apostle not because he was famous or outspoken, but because he remained faithful to Jesus.

Today’s feast reminds us that God still calls ordinary people with faithful hearts to do extraordinary things.
