Newly Professed Members of Trinitarian Third Order in Maryland

Congratulations to our newly professed members of Trinitarian Third Order (Laity of the Order), Mike Lappe, John Mohler, Jose Sierra, Courtney McDevitt and Danae McDevitt. These brothers and sisters took their vows on January 28, 2024, the Feast Day of our Patroness, St. Agnes.

Praise and thanks be to the Holy Trinity and a warm welcome to all, with best wishes and prayers! May the Holy Trinity bless you and guide you on your journey of perfection and share in the divine life and redemptive ministry of God, through Christ Jesus our Lord and Redeemer. May Our Lady of Good Remedy intercede for you and accompany you always, and may St. John de Matha, St. Felix Valois, Bl. Anna Maria Taigi, St. Agnes and all Trinitarian saints be your inspiration, example and help.

The Trinitarian family is an ecclesial community composed of clerics, lay persons, nuns, and religious brothers and sisters who bear the name of the Trinity and who acknowledge St. John de Matha as their common father. Together they form the "house of the Trinity and of captives." They share in the same Trinitarian redemptive charism and carry out its mission: the glorification of the Trinity and the redemption of the captives of our day.

From the very beginning of the order, lay persons have been a part of the family. By their lay and public nature, they incarnate the charism of St. John de Matha in the world in a variety of ways.
