FEAST OF ST. JOHN DE MATHA - DECEMBER 17th

Today, December 17th, is the Feast of St. John de Matha!

On Dec. 17, 1198, John received approval from Pope Innocent III to found the Trinitarian Order dedicated to ransoming those held captive for their faith in Christ.

Over 800 years later (825 years to be exact!), the mission he received from God is still alive and well.

The Trinitarians around the world strive to imitate the example of St. John de Matha as we share our charism with a world held captive by the chains of the human condition.

St. John de Matha ... Pray for Us!!!
